SLAMY is a faith-based humanitarian and youth development organization dedicated to promoting unity, self-reliance, and moral responsibility among Muslim youths in Sierra Leone.
Founded in 1991 during one of Sierra Leone's darkest periods, SLAMY has consistently demonstrated that faith-driven action can create tangible, lasting change in communities affected by crisis.

SLAMY operates with full legal recognition from the Government of Sierra Leone and maintains international partnerships with established Islamic organizations.
SLAMY has been officially registered since 1994 and is recognized by relevant government ministries. The organization operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender & Children's Affairs.

SLAMY maintained a formal relationship with the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), one of the largest international Islamic youth organizations headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
